Drumcroon Farms taking a chance with the weather to sow winter wheat not far from the home yard. Working down the field with 8 furrs of Kverneland steel with John Deere & Valtra tractor turning over. On the drill side we have a Pottinger Box drill on the 7S Massey Ferguson

Steele Farms getting silage in before the rain came a few weeks back... One of the few New Holland FRs about but she is purring away with 40 fts of grass from the Krone Swadro rake and John Deere. Carting back to the silage pit is the farms own kit with a Blue Power T6.180, T7.190 on Kane trailers. We've never had fords but the neighbour had one of these which had some sort of power boost button that made it do about 50mph...

@@ARImagery well this would have been about 1997 I think. I've often thought about going full retro. We've run internationals and case since the 80's and I miss the old internationals. Easy to fix, not too big and complicated. I get modern tractors are more comfortable and I wouldn't want to combine in a cab-less new Holland. But 80's/ 90's tractors looked better imo.

It's hard to understand why there is not more new holland self propelled harvesters on the go.years ago they were all over ireland

Nowadays not, the Dutch factory is 'split' not making the machines for Kverneland/ Vicon/ Kubota anymore, but Geldrop is completely purchased by Kuhn. (Yes I live in the Netherlands 😂)

@@ARImagery I offen wonder why a forage operator doesn't fill on the right side as its much easier what with all the controls are on the right!! The camera is good for what we saw in your short film...but why crane your neck to the left when it's easier looking right!!
